Happy Wednesday! Today the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team is hopping along showing you how projects created using the technique of masking. There are several reasons that I love the Brutus Monroe Masking Paper.:
- The masking paper comes in two different sizes 4.25 X 5 and 8.5 X 11. My favorite size is the smaller.
- I also love that the backing on the paper has thin lines that allow you to pull the backing off easily no matter how you cut it down.
- It dies cuts like a dream
- What I love the most about this masking paper is that it sticks! It sticks very well and doesn't peel up as you are working around it, but it does not rip the panel when it is removed.
For today's card I used the adorable December Stamp of the Month Light Bulb Stamp and masked it over and over to create my own background patterned with multiple light bulbs. Once the masking was complete I used the same traditional colors to color each bulb. Coloring this card was very relaxing and I love the way it turned out.
The sentiment "Merry and Bright" is from the stamp set of the same name stamped then heat embossed on heat resistant vellum using Christmas Eve embossing powder. The vellum was cut using a sentiment strip and adhered to the panel using craft glue. That completes this festive, fun card using the fabulous December Stamp of the Month and masking.

Have a great day!
