Trinity Stamps recently had a fabulous release and when I saw the Dust Bunnies set I knew I had to have it!! This set is so unique and fun. Check out the Trinity Release here.
The set includes a bed, which is so cute. I decided to draw out a dustpan and create a circle card. I am not an artist at all, so when I decided to draw a dustpan I was worried it would come out looking ridiculous, however, I googled a clip art dustpan and was surprisingly able to come up with something useable. I guess you never know until you try. 😀
Once I drew the pan I cut it out using a scan n cut and colored it with Copic markers (B10 and B12) and black for the outline.
The dust bunny was stamped out with Gina K amalgam black ink and colored using C1, C3 and C5 along with R20 for the nose and checks. The bunny was simple to color and shade.
The circles were cut using Brutus Monroe Circle Foundation second to largest die. I wanted to keep the background simple, to achieve this I added Antique Linen Distress Oxide for the "floor" and Shaded Lilac for the walls. The dust pan was added with tape runner and the bunny using 3M foam tape.
The back circle was added to make the panel into a circle card to complete the card. I had not made a circle card in a long time. It was nice to step out and do something different.
